Remembering Columbine…
Instead of readying for fire, my kids have a monthly drill at their school preparing for a potential shooter. The school secretary has code words she reads over the intercom so my daughters know when to find the best, smallest hiding spots…know when to practice being silent or violent.
Remember first hearing bout Sandy Hook? Columbine? And on and on.
